    Perfect for solo escapes

Stayed solo for 2 nights and really enjoyed the breakfast vibe-love a good cup of tea! The bacon was a bit too crispy for my taste, and the chocolate clusters in my cereal weren't great. The small double room was cozy and met my needs just fine. The dining area felt nice too.

The cozy atmosphere and comfortable room. I experienced noise disturbances from the pub and found that parking was a challenge, as there were no free spaces nearby. Still, the friendly staff were responsive to my needs.

    good breakfast

The small double room was verysuper clean and cozy, recently refurbished with tasteful decor. Breakfast was very good, although it did take a while to arrive. We especially appreciated the extra tea supplies on the landing. It's also ideally located near the seaside, perfect for a stroll!

    parking issue

The room was charming and spotless, and I loved the unique shower and fluffy towels. I savored relaxing moments on the cozy terrace and enjoyed a refreshing drink from the garden. One minor hiccup was the parking situation, but the staff had great tips to help navigate it. 😄

    Coastal charm with cozy vibes

Just spent 2 nights in a cute double room-super clean and nicely done. The staff are really friendly! Breakfast was fab with tons of fresh options. We ate in the bar area, loved the courtyard too! Only thing, the room was a bit tight for space with our bags.

    fine view
    comfortable room
    generous toiletries
    room temperature
    missing items
    remote cleanliness

I spent a couple of nights in a Small Double Room at Cross Keys. The sea view from my room was fine and nice. The room itself was comfortable and tastefully decorated. I loved the generous supply of toiletries provided. The breakfast each morning was a highlight, offering a varied menu with delicious homemade focaccia. The breakfast manager was attentive and accommodating, easily adjusting to my vegan preferences. The first night was quite uncomfortable. The room was cold with no heating, difficult to sleep. It would have been great to have extra bedding for warmth. Another minor issue was the lack of an extra loo roll. When I needed to dry my mugs after cleaning them, I used up the roll quickly. The cleanliness of the TV remote could also use some attention. The location was perfect for exploring and the staff were friendly were great.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cross Keys! The breakfast delighted with its variety and freshness, while the friendly staff made every moment special. My only concern was the noise from below, which could be a bother at night. Still, this eco-friendly pub is a gem!

    disappointment

The room was cosy, warm, and had a lovely sea view that exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was good, particularly the poached eggs, perfectly prepared. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was disappointing that food wasn't available , which resulted in a wet walk to find an alternative restaurant.
